Im Memoriam 9/11

My first picture in cooperation with orange county chopper was a job for the 10th memorial day of 9/11. A day of terror and fear hits not only the United States of Amerika. It was a smash for the entire world. However the tragedy was on this specific day it gave birth to many heroes of our history. Policemen as well as firefighters and an uncountable number of civilian people gave their lives to rescue others this day. The motive on this picture shows Paul Teutul sen. with a group of bikers on their way to the memorial day celebration of th e 10th aniversary of 9/11 at Ground Zero/New York. In the background we see the liberty statue and three firefighters raising the Star-Spangled Banner as a sign of freedom and peace in a cloud of ash and dust.

Michael Knepper | Official featured Artist by OCC

Fantastic news from the US: Now, I'm proudly present that I became the “Official featured artist by OOC” and therefore I'm  the only artist who is allowed to paint the bikes of Orange County Chopper!

In Sturgis  I got to know  my  American art dealer Ron Segal from Segal Fine Art who has been presenting  me  for over 4 years now in the USA and helped  me  to gain extensive publicity and fans through plenty  exhibitions in New York, Miami, Washington, Daytona Beach, Sturgis etc.

However, that was the time when the guys from OCC recognized me decided to choose me as the “Official featured artist" for Orange County Choppers. As a result I will now immortalize the bikes of Orange County Choppers on canvas- for all their and my  fans and customers.

When handing over the original pictures at Paul Teutuls sen. homeplace I also hold a painting lesson for 11 war veterans invited especially for this event.

Even Paul sen. couldn't resist to grab a brush  and paint a head of an american eagle under my observation. All this were recorded by discovery channel and will be shown in February.
